The Town of Norrie requires a building permit on all construction. Permits must be obtained from the Town before construction can begin. Applicants are required to attend the town meeting with a drawing displaying building measurements, lot lines, etc.
The Town also requires houses be inspected upon completion. Please call the Building Inspector to arrange an appointment for inspection. Please remember the Township has a minimum lot size of two acres for a new residence.
A building permit is also required on any construction over $5,000 such has improvements. Requirements are the same and a Board Inspection will take place upon completion. Cost is $300 and is nonreturnable.
